Sheds and Workshops: Standard fixed and opening window combinations or Georgian fixed windows glazed with individual panes of toughened glass. Higher specification buildings include joinery finished windows and doors.

Standard framing to most buildings = 2” x 1” and 2” x 2” planed with heavy duty workshops including 2” x 3” where required.

Standard Buildings: ½ “ (12mm) Redwood T&G Timber floor. Workshop and larger buildings ¾ “ Heavy duty V313 Caperboard moisture resistant caperboard floor. Mounted on treated bearers.

Delivery and installation onto your level prepared base is included as standard to all areas covered by this manufacturer. No discount is offered for delivery only.

All buildings are treated externally with spirit based preservative as standard (light tan colour). Some buildings are dipped in treatment (Dennington Sheds). Factory coloured treatment options are available at extra cost (Please ask for more details).

Standard buildings: (12mm) softwood T&G Shiplap with optional upgrades to 20mm deluxe softwood or 12mm Canadian Western Red Cedar. There are no chipboard or sterling board within the Regency Buildings.

Sheds and Workshops: Standard fixed and opening window combinations. For the summerhouse range there are optional upgrades from plain glass to; large pane Georgian, Leaded (Diamond or Square leads), Modern glazing, toughened glass upgrades and double glazed timber windows and doors.

Delivery is included as standard. Installation service is also available as an optional extra in selected areas
(Note: Roof upgrades also incur additional installation costs)

Regency are able to manufacturer different types of roof for your building; Standard roof finish is green mineral roofing felt, upgrades to felt tiles (Red or Green), Cedar shingles or Cedar Slats are also available. (Please note with any roof upgrades extra installation costs apply)

Regency base plans are available on request once your order has been placed - please contact the office and a base plan will be sent to you.

All buildings are fully dipped in standard spirit based treatment. Extra treatment can be purchased and delivered free with your building. (Note: Treatment cannot be sent out separately due to courier restrictions).

Using kiln dried pine interlocking logs can be manufactured in 28mm, 33mm, 45mm, 58mm, 70mm, 90mm and 112mm. The pavilion ranges are available in 28mm and 45mm logs.

All vertical sides come with pressure treated foundation beams which sit directly onto your level base. Optional internal floors can be purchased with most standard designs.

Brochure shows standard windows and doors included with each building. These can be changed to an alternative design.

If you do decide to change the windows and doors from the standard designs the additional costs would be; modification charge for each size change and the price difference between the standard designs and the new designs chosen.

For buildings with between 19mm and 33mm logs single glazed windows and doors are standard. For all buildings with 45mm or above have double glazed windows and doors as standard.

Timber Georgian Bars: These are surface applied to all windows and doors.

Brass Georgian Bars: These are fixed between the double glazed sealed unit panes

Tilt and Turn: Most opening windows use the standard tilt and turn mechanism – some window options are side hung opening (please ask for details).

Coloured felt tiles can be ordered with each building, if required, in a choice of 5 standard colours (two in shaped tiles). Colour swatches available to see at our display centre.

Pavillion models can be ordered with a pre-shingled roof (saving you or your installer the extra time and money)

All models can be ordered without any felt tiles so you can apply your own choice of roof finish.

All buildings are supplied untreated as standard. Bertsch are able to offer factory treatment using Sikkens quality paint system to all windows and doors for all building types.

Factory applied oil based impregnating agent is available to all buildings at extra cost.

Fully painted buildings can be offered only on the Pavillion and Prefabricated ranges using coloured ranges from Sikkens as shown in brochure. (Sikkens colour swatches are available to see at our display centre.)

The majority of buildings manufactured by Bertsch are bespoke to the customers requirements. Please feel free to email over design sketches showing room layouts, building sizes and designs and we normally are able to get quotes back to you within just a few days.
